Oak Brook, Ill. – Inland Real Estate Brokerage & Consulting, Inc. (“Inland Brokerage & Consulting”) announced today the bulk sale of 281 platted lots for 371 approved residential single-family homes and duplexes at The Preserve at Cardinal Creek, a 27-hole established golf course community in Beecher, Illinois. The Preserve at Cardinal Creek includes a full amenity clubhouse, fitness center, a pool and recreation center. The purchase included the transfer of $1.7 million in sewer, water and recapture credits.

“This was a great opportunity play for the purchaser, an Australian-based residential subdivision buyer with a real appetite for suburban Chicago projects,” said Paul Rogers, president of Inland Brokerage & Consulting and the broker for the transaction. “We were engaged about four months by the time we identified the buyer and secured the transaction within 30 days thereafter.”

“We have some history with this development,” continued Rogers. “Back in 2011, we hosted a retail sales campaign for Cardinal Creek and sold 16 golf course spec homes and a number of home sites at auction.”
